Harald Mooij has years of professional experience as an architect, working both as freelancer as well as designer for different architecture offices, including ADP Architects in Amsterdam. After a long period working in the Dutch capital, he returned to Delft where he not only founded his own private company – MOOIJ – but also attained a teaching position at TU Delft University. As a tutor for the Chair of Architecture and Dwelling since 2004 and part of the Global Housing Studio team, his teaching focuses on housing-related topics with special attention to issues of rapid urbanization, social housing, and design in developing countries. In parallel to his tutoring position, he has written and edited several publications on residential design, including articles in DASH, Delta, Detail in Architectuur, and De Architect.
