Mulu Haile is the founder and director of Mission for Community Development Program, an Ethiopian non-profit organization which aims to support and empower disadvantaged communities with an emphasis on addressing the needs of women and girls engaged in domestic work. With focus on human rights for children and youth, her extensive experience in the area of social work and community engagement led to work experiences in various places, including Addis Ababa, Oromia, as well as the Southern Nation and Nationalities and People Regional State (SNNPRS) of Ethiopia. Much of her work involves integrated community developments, often focused on women and children, but beneficial to the community as a whole. Through partnerships with different development partners and government bodies, Haile’s work instigates significant social change in Ethiopia.
